Is it useful? 50:50 yes-no (not no-yes), because saving energy as humankind education is good, but we’ve no energy problem on this world. There’s more power & resources on this planet than found today. And also many ‘old’ sources can be used better and longer, so oil (petroleum) can be manufactured and isn’t a bio but chemical process. Also alternative (wind, water flow,…) energy has a great future, but only 2030 about 30-40% in the power use mix – with difference of developed to undeveloped countries – because sustainable technologies to produce bio energy is expensive.
